Data Protection Complaints
Last updated 19 July 2026
If something about your data does not feel right
You can raise a complaint about how Eligna handles your personal data at any time. We would rather hear from you early, so we can look into it and put things right. You do not need a form, a lawyer, or any special wording.
How to complain
Email us at privacy@eligna.app. To help us look into it quickly, please include:
- What the complaint is about, in your own words. A short description of what happened, or what concerns you, is enough.
- The email address on your account, so we can find the right records. Where you can, please send your complaint from that address.
If it helps to add dates, screenshots, or the names of any features involved, you are welcome to, but none of that is required.
What happens next, and when
We take every complaint seriously and handle it calmly and in confidence.
- Acknowledgement within 5 working days. We will confirm we have received your complaint and let you know it is being looked into.
- A full response within 30 days. We will investigate and reply with the outcome, and with any steps we are taking. If a complaint is unusually complex and we need longer, we will tell you before the 30 days are up, explain why, and give you a new date.
A named person is responsible for data protection at Eligna, and your complaint goes to them.
Your right to escalate
Coming to us first is not required, and it does not limit your rights. You can contact a data protection authority at any time, whether or not you have raised the matter with us.
- Bulgaria (our lead authority). Eligna is operated from Bulgaria by TRANSLOGISTIKA ES Ltd, so our lead supervisory authority is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP), at cpdp.bg.
- United Kingdom. If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
- Elsewhere in the EU or EEA. You can also contact the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
You also have the right to a judicial remedy. If you disagree with how we, or a supervisory authority, have handled your personal data or your complaint, you can ask a court to review it. Raising a complaint with us or with an authority does not affect that right.
