Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 15 July 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) forms part of, and should be read with, the Eligna Terms and Conditions. It sets out what you may and may not do when you use Eligna (the “Service”), operated by TRANSLOGISTIKA ES Ltd. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Terms.
1. The spirit of this Policy
Eligna is a personal and household organisation tool for your own everyday life. Use it for that. Do not use it in a way that is unlawful, that harms other people, that harms other users, or that damages or misuses the Service.
2. Things you must not do
You must not:
- Break the law. Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to store, share or create content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, obscene, or that invades someone’s privacy.
- Harm the Service. Introduce malware; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, our systems, or another user’s account or data; probe, scan or test the security of the Service without our written permission; or interfere with its integrity, security or availability.
- Reverse-engineer. Copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Overload or abuse the AI. Use automation, scripting, bots or any other means to exceed fair-use or rate limits, to generate an excessive load, or to run the Service for anyone other than yourself and your Household. Do not use the AI Features to generate unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive or abusive content, and do not attempt to bypass the AI’s safety measures.
- Exploit the Service commercially. Resell, sublicense, rent or commercially exploit the Service, or use it on behalf of a business, without our written permission. Eligna is for personal, non-commercial use.
- Misuse other people’s data. Enter personal data about other people, or invite people to a Household, unless you have a proper basis and they are content to be contacted or included. Do not enter sensitive information about others unless it is necessary and you are entitled to.
- Impersonate or mislead. Impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your connection with anyone.
- Respect shared Household spaces. You decide what you put into a shared Household space, and so does everyone else. Do not add information to a shared space that you are not willing for other members to see. Do not take, copy, export, publish or share another member’s content, or personal data about another member or a third party, outside the Household without that person’s consent.
- Undermine others’ use. Do anything that disrupts, degrades or interferes with another user’s use of the Service, including within a shared Household.
3. Content you add
You are responsible for the Content you add and for how you behave within a Household. You confirm that you have the right to submit your Content and that it does not breach this Policy, infringe anyone’s rights, or break the law.
4. Reporting misuse
If you come across content or behaviour that breaches this Policy, tell us at admin@eligna.app so we can look into it.
5. What happens if you break this Policy
If you breach this Policy, we may, in a way that is proportionate to the breach and in line with the Terms, remove or disable the relevant Content, issue a warning, restrict or suspend features, or suspend or close your Account. Except where the law or an urgent security or legal need requires us to act immediately, we will give you notice, an opportunity to put things right where appropriate, and information on how to complain or appeal. Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights as a Consumer.
6. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will give reasonable notice as described in the Terms.
